Employer Information Sessions

Organisations are invited to hold Information Sessions on campus during the academic year to promote graduate and vacation employment opportunities.
Students can meet the representatives behind the employer brand and have their questions answered.

A variety of venues ranging from small seminar rooms to lecture theatres and conference facilities are available to ensure your needs are most effectively met. A range of audio-visual equipment and catering options are also available.

Information sessions can be held either during the day or in the evening, although only one can be scheduled in each time-slot to maximise number of students attending. Preferential dates are offered to major sponsors of UNSW.

Venue Options and Costs (including GST)
Careers and Employment will book the venue on your behalf.

  • ARC@UNSW - UNSW Roundhouse; Wurth and Drawing Rooms; available for lunch-time or evening presentations. Capacity: 150. Cost: $550.
  • UNSW Venues & Events - The John Niland Scientia Building (The Galleries, Tyree Room or Leighton Hall); available for lunch-time or evening presentations. Respective capacities: 150; 220; 520. Respective costs: $900; $1,080; $1,940.
  • UNSW Venues & Events - Lecture Theatre on Campus; available in the common lunch hour (1-2pm). Capacity: from 80 to 200. Cost: $440.
Audio-visual equipment: full audio-visual equipment is provided in all options above. Presenters simply need to bring their presentation on disk. In the John Niland Scientia Building, a laptop is also available if requested prior.

Catering: once the venue is booked, you are invited to arrange your catering directly with the venue - if you wish to have catering. NB: catering is not permitted in the lecture theatres.
